The SFM Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports higher education through scholarships and student outreach programs, the Foundation is committed to the growth of our vital industry. The Foundation offers scholarships to students that have gained acceptance into a full-time restaurant/foodservice related post-secondary program.
Students applying for the scholarship are judged on the following
criteria: strong desire in onsite foodservice, GPA, work experience,
letter of recommendation, and written essay.
In addition to the scholarships, the Foundation offers funding to colleges/universities that offer or are interested in offering, an onsite foodservice course. Several schools are awarded this grant and those colleges/universities that are interested in the grant must apply.
In addition to individual and corporate support, the SFM Foundation holds several fund-raising events, as well as a silent auction during the SFM National Conference to support its programs. With your participation you too can be a part of impacting the future of onsite foodservice.
