Welcome Letter

I am privileged and excited to invite all of my SFM colleagues and food service professionals to join SFM in Austin, Texas for our 2008 National Conference. The Conference will take place at the Austin Hilton from September 9th –September 12th.

This year’s conference theme, “Cool City, Hot Topics” accurately depicts the lively city of Austin, Texas and the timely educational sessions for the conference. As in prior years, attendees will hear from exceptional speakers about important topics in our industry and be exposed to the “hottest” culinary ideas. The conference will showcase the unique and bold Texas flavor of Austin and combine local music with great food!

The 2008 National Conference Planning Committee is committed to providing attendees with outstanding program content, enjoyable activities and a myriad of valuable information during these challenging economic times. This year’s attendees will once again experience the “Taste of SFM” along with several new program twists.
