THE EVENT: On Tuesday, September 29th, 2009, the Society for Food Service Management exclusively invites conference attendees to a behind-the-scenes tour of four critically acclaimed, well-regarded San Francisco restaurants all in the heart of Union Square. Participants will have the exclusive opportunity to meet the chefs, tour the kitchens, and experience an array of ethnicity, décor, and local flavor in a private tour designed by San Francisco based restaurant consultant Andrew Freeman and his team. This is an exclusive opportunity to see first-hand what makes San Francisco a leading culinary city, and leave with a greater understanding of the inner-workings and underlying ideas of these favorite restaurants.
This insider tour includes:
- A private meet-and-greet with the chefs at four top restaurants
- A behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchens to see what it takes to run the top kitchens in the city
- Q&A with the General Managers and Chefs

Join fellow SFMers for this once in a lifetime opportunity to walk the Golden Gate Bridge and help fight hunger! Your donation will be used to help families in need in the Bay Area. Participants will receive a commemorative SFM t-shirt for the event.
