Mentoring in action!
This letter was printed with permission from Kathy Clarkson and Juniper Korkie.

Juniper Korkie and Kathy Clarkson at USA Today's dinner honoring the 2006 Winter Olympic Team

Juniper and I are still really enjoying our mentor/mentee relationship. In fact, I was with her last week. Juniper invited me to a black tie dinner in Washington DC. She works for USA Today and they sponsored a dinner for 1500 to honor the 2006 winter Olympic Team last Tuesday evening. It was a great evening. We got to see all of the Olympic Team Members. While I was there I stayed with her and I went over to USA Today's HQ in McLean, VA to see where she works and meet her boss and the people who she works with. It was so wonderful for me to meet everyone.

I have attached a photo of Juniper and myself that was taken at the black tie dinner last Tuesday. Me and my mentee!!!!!

Thanks for all of your help Amanda,

Enjoy your week,
Kathy
